Michaela is a passionate, creative interior designer & artist. Having roots in the heart of Missouri, Michaela has seamlessly transitioned her talents, bringing her Midwest soul to Texas.

Her journey into the world of design began with a passion for the arts, leading her to pursue studies in Fine Arts during her college years. However, it was her deep-seated fascination with the intersection of art and functionality that prompted her to shift her focus towards interior design. Graduating with awards from the University of Missouri, Michaela earned a degree in Architectural Studies with an Emphasis in Interior Design, accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA).

Currently, Michaela is the Lead Designer for Haus of Powell, working under Principal Designer Kristal Powell. This dynamic and creative partnership allows her to push the boundaries of design, collaborating on high-end residential and commercial projects that blend artistry with innovation.

With a diverse portfolio spanning new construction, luxury residential projects, bespoke restaurant designs, a fitness facility, and chic salons and boutiques, Michaela's designs are tailored to each unique client and project's objectives. Her signature style is a fusion of vibrant saturated colors, layered patterns and textures, and thoughtful personal touches. She loves a "smile moment" in a space.
